We'd like all of our artists to re-upload their images.  You should now find the gallery software a great deal easier to use. All previous software glitches should now have been addressed.

Nature in Art Print

The use of Nature in Art has been in place since the beginning of time when cave paintings were produced and the life and surroundings of the people were recorded.

Since that time hosts of artists have included the use of Nature in various forms. Plants, humans, animals, birds, fish, insects, weather, seas, mountains, etc. in both natural and unnatural formats have been used to express the thoughts and feelings of artists through time.

Often referred to as 'organic', pieces that include the winding coils of a plant as in those of the Art Nouveau period, appeal to the senses of people, even those who are not aware of possessing a love of art......

Egyptian art portrayed the lives of the working man and woman with the inclusion of domestic and working animals.

Sennedjem plows his fields with a pair of oxen, used as beasts of burden and a source of food.

The list is endless. Natural materials will always provide artists with a resource for inspiration.
