Ron ColeTook up drawing etc just before retirement in 1994.  I've tried various media such as watercolour and gouache which I enjoyed but attention to detail has been my constant companion for 50 years and the craving is now best filled by pastel & Pen and Ink .

A retired Hospital Pharmacist who took up drawing a few years before finishing work to obviate the need to watch TV to fill in the time. Now I have more pastimes and no time!!
I started by drawing alpine plants as illustrations for the Alpine Garden Society Bulletin. In 1985 I had two pen & ink drawings selected for an exhibition called "Pharmacists in Art" as part of the celebrations of 150 years by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society at Lambeth in London.
Since then I've had works hung in a few local exhibitions but now I only draw for relatives, friends and pleasure.  Having tried gouache and a few other media I settled on Pen & Ink and Pastel.
